TGS – Services We distinguish ourselves in the market by offering around the clock service each and every day of the week. We also maintain a 99% on-time delivery status and we want to meet or exceed your needs each and every time. Import-Export Drayage – Out of Fresno and Lathrop, TGS services the Oakland, San Francisco and Long Beach/San Pedro ports. TGS has contracts with all the steamship lines and maintains container pool yards in Fresno
and Lathrop. In the Fresno yard, TGS has lift capabilities with 24-hour access. To compliment the service, we also have specialty chassis’ that can haul 20, 40 & 45-foot containers with a cargo weight of up to 47,000 pounds. We’ll cover your cargo light or heavy.
Piggyback Drayage – TGS is contracted with the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) and Union Pacific Railroads (UP) to and from all the Central and Northern California railroad ramps. With customers wanting deliveries and pickups round the clock, 7 days a week, our flexibility is high. On deliveries we’ll trace your shipment from the Mid-West or East Coast; setup a delivery appointment and keep you abreast of any changes along the way.
Dedicated Shuttle Service – TGS has contracts with different customers to handle their product to and from warehouses, distribution centers and manufacturing plants. On these moves we use company owned trailers that are generally dedicated to the customer. LCL (Less than Container Load) Service – Fast, dependable and safe – our LCL service runs between the Fresno-Oakland corridor with empty 20, 40 & 45-foot containers daily. California Truckload – With a constantly growing customer base comes a constant growth in services. TGS has found it necessary to open services in the California truckload market. Between Northern and Southern California, we run 48-foot and 53-foot dry vans. By incorporating all of our services, we can enhance profits and cut outside costs, which means further savings for you.
